Authorised Sheep Dip Disposal Areas

The Groundwater Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009 (as amended) provides for authorisation of discharge of a hazardous substance or non-hazardous pollutant to ensure protection of groundwater against pollution and deterioration. This spatial layer shows fields across Northern Ireland with approved authorisations mainly for sheep dip disposal and some plant protection products. This data was compiled in 2009 and is being updated.
