Government Legal Department

The Government Legal Department (formerly the Treasury Solicitor’s Department until 1st April 2015) provides litigation and advisory services to government departments and other publicly funded bodies in England and Wales. It also administers the estates of people who die with no will and no known relatives and collects the assets of dissolved companies and failed trusts.
