Policy SS11 – Whitchurch Railway Station Car Park

This 1 hectare site, which lies to the north of the railway line at Whitchurch is allocated for the development of a new passenger railway station car park. Proposals for a new rail station car park will be permitted provided that:

a) Vehicle access to the site can be secured from Newbury Road; b) Access between the railway station and car park site can be secured; and c) The site is comprehensively landscaped given its location within the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
