The data shows:

• the number of stop and searches for different ethnic groups in England and Wales
• how many stop and searches there were for every 1,000 people in each ethnic group (the ‘rate’)

Data is shown by:

• ethnicity
• ethnicity over time
• ethnicity and police force area
• ethnicity and type of legislation
