Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) - Post-acute organisational audit 2021

The SSNAP post-acute organisational audit is a snapshot audit which supersedes the first organisational audit of post-acute stroke service commissioning carried out in 2015. It reports on the structure and organisation of post-acute stroke services in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The results reflect the organisation of post-acute stroke services as of 1 April 2021. In total 664 post-acute stroke service providers submitted information to the audit.

The results of the 2021 post-acute organisational audit contain national and service level findings on the organisation of stroke services, including collection and reporting on data such as staffing levels, access to timely multidisciplinary care and 7-day working.

National Report: Contains national results for many key aspects of post-acute stroke service organisation, including the 14 key indicators, it gives a comprehensive overview of the organisation of post-acute inpatient and community-based multidisciplinary services and highlights areas of good practice and areas requiring improvements.

The full results portfolio: Presents service level and national performance against the 14 key indicators (KIs) identified for the 2021 Post-acute organisational audit. The majority of which were applied to post-acute inpatient and community-based multidisciplinary teams only. It gives a comprehensive overview of the organisation of post-acute inpatient and community-based multidisciplinary services.
