RDC Car Parks - Service Data

Parking, Car Park, Off-street, Pay & Display, Amenity Car Parks. Land designated for parking. All freeholds of the stes are owned by Rother District Council, however some sites are managed under elase agreements with Parish Councils or COmmunity Interest Groups. Those under the management of Rother District COuncil are either controlled by The District of Rother Parking Places ( Off-Street) Parking Places Order 1983 with charges applying or they are amenity car parks supporting local open spaces and are free of any charges. Size of car parks range from 9 to 2100 spaces. Majority of car parks are open all year with a number of seasonal sapces opening up at peak season ( April to September). Car parks are a mix of makred and unmarked bays on either a tarmac ( or similar) , grass or loose gravel surface.
