This spatial data displays the mapped measures identified for the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS).
It brings together many of the Areas of Particular Importance to Biodiversity (APIB's) and highlights the Areas that Could become of importance to Biodiversity (ACBs), which together form a connected network where targeted action can deliver “bigger, better, and more joined-up” habitats across Wiltshire. These areas represent locations where the responsible authority and local partners propose concentrating specific measures or actions to restore habitats and achieve the greatest benefits for biodiversity and the wider environment.
This is the foremost layer on the interactive map and includes links to webpages that outline recommended actions and desired outcomes for habitat maintenance and restoration.
