The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) describes the health, care and wellbeing needs of the population of Calderdale. It identifies the priorities for action to improve health and wellbeing, and reduce health inequalities.
The JSNA is used to develop the Calderdale Health and Wellbeing Strategy. It is used to inform health and care commissioning to meet those needs. It also supports local groups, organisations and other interested parties who want to know more about the population health needs of Calderdale.
The JSNA links closely with Vision 2034 and is being used to underpin the development of Calderdale Cares.
Your input is welcomed. If you have any data, insight or other information that you’d like to submit to be considered for inclusion in the JSNA, or if you want any further information or to make any comments about the Calderdale JSNA, please contact PH.Intelligence@calderdale.gov.uk
