The Jonus II programme was run to examine impacts of nutrients on the coastal
pelagic community and consisted of a series of 7 individual cruises using RV
Cirolana and the charter vessel Lough Voyager.
The survey was conducted in the southern North Sea, the Thames Estuary, The
Wash, the Irish and Celtic Sea, the South-Western Approaches and the western
English Channel.
As part of the survey aims phytoplankton and zooplankton samples were
collected. This data consists of the numbers of microzooplankton, along with
associated positional data and volumes filtered.
