Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) in England

PROMs measures health gain in patients undergoing hip replacement, knee replacement, varicose vein and groin hernia surgery in England, based on responses to questionnaires before and after surgery.

High-level national figures are published monthly for each of the two financial years currently being updated. Full releases, with additional analysis tools and reusable data packs, are published four times a year - usually in February, May, August and November.

Publications are provisional until the data set is declared finalised. An annual publication is produced for each final data year, including a full report with extended analyses.
