The submitted dataset comprises two complementary spreadsheets, geophysical data and bulletin reports that together document the four paroxysmal eruptions of Guatemala’s Fuego volcano between 2016 and 2018. Spreadsheet 1. Fuego_2016-18-timeseries-normalized-cycles - A compilation from multiple sources of timeseries data (gas, thermal infrared, seismic) tracing four paroxysmal eruptions of Volcán de Fuego, Guatemala, between 2016 and 2018. Spreadsheet 2. Fuego_2016-18_Catalogue-of-INSIVUMEH-bulletins-four-eruptions - A compilation of bulletin reports from national monitoring agency (INSIVUMEH) for the four eruptions, available in Spanish (original) and English (translated), used to construct timescales of eruptive evolutions for four eruptions of Fuego. This dataset was generated as part of the GCRF-funded project, "Ixchel: Building understanding of the physical, cultural and socio-economic drivers of risk for strengthening resilience in the Guatemalan cordillera". The data appeared as Supplementary Material (SM-2) to the publication, "Transitions: comparing timescales of eruption and evacuation at Volcán de Fuego (Guatemala) to understand relationships between hazard evolution and responsive action" https://doi.org/10.1186/s13617-023-00139-0
