The Coalfield Consultation Areas dataset has been created from information held by the Mining Remediation Authority and is used to determine whether a coal mining report is required for property transactions and the conveyance process.
In November 2024, the Coal Authority changed its name to the Mining Remediation Authority to better reflect its mission and continued commitment to environmental sustainability, safety, and community support.
