British Virgin Islands video survey centre points

A video survey was undertaken between the 12th and 20th August 2014 as part of the Darwin Plus funded project (DPLUS026) in the British Virgin Islands. The survey collected video and still imagery at 64 locations across the area which had previously been surveyed using a multibeam echosounder. The imagery consists of imagery from the seabed to determine the physical characteristics and biological communities. Each station was comprised of two 5 minute tows, with acquisition of continuous video data and still images approximately every 15 seconds. Still images were collected using a Nikon D200 with a fish-eye lens. This dataset is a summary dataset showing the centre point for all stations. GPS data was collected by Cefas using portable GPS unit connected to ArcGIS. Images are available in *.jpg format, video data in digital movie format.
