Assets of Community Value

The Council must introduce and administer a scheme which makes provision for local community groups to nominate buildings or land within the district to be included in a List of Assets of Community Value. If listed as an asset, local community groups have a chance to bid to buy the asset if it is sold on the open market. You can view the list of nominations accepted, nominations NOT accepted and those nominations that are pending, here. (The Localism Act 2011, together with the associated assets of Community Value (England) Regulations 2012) Learn more about these on our webpage. This dataset is published on an ad-hoc basis as applications are received and assesed. If you require further information related to this dataset, please make a FOI request using our online form.
