Hipperholme and Lightcliffe Ward

The Hipperholme and Lightcliffe ward dataset includes the ward map; demographic profile; Public Health England local health report; Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) factsheet; Public Health data; elections data and maps; anti-poverty data; and other ward data. Hipperholme and Lightcliffe ward is in the east of Calderdale, and is one of the smaller wards in area. It is made up of open countryside and woodland around the settlement of Norwood Green, and mainly residential built-up areas of Hipperholme, Lightcliffe, Bailiff Bridge and part of Hove Edge. Industry is mainly located in Hipperholme and Bailiff Bridge. The ward is serviced by a network of important roads providing access to the M62 motorway and neighbouring larger towns. New ward information 2026: There will be local (district) elections on 7th May 2026 for new wards following a Local Government Boundary Commission review. The information on this ward data page is based on ward boundaries that predate these elections. The Office for National Statistics is due to publish 2026 ward boundary information in June / July 2026. Once that has been published Calderdale Dataworks will be updated to include new ward data pages.
