1a. Land Area by ward, land-use and ownership
This dataset contains the land area of each ward in Cambridge City. The land area is measured in hectares and is broken down by land use classification and by ownership. There are 9 different land use classifications, these are listed below: • Low density residential (LDR) • Medium density residential (MDR) • High density residential (HDR) • Town Centre / Commercial (TC) • Industrial (I) • Formal & Informal open space (OS1) • Institutional open space (OS2) • Derelict, neglected & abandoned open space (OS3) • Areas of remnant countryside (OS4) The last column provides the total of all land use classes. Land ownership is divided between Cambridge City, Highways and Private.
