LiDAR for Aberdeen City 2025 - DSM

A LiDAR survey was commissioned by Aberdeen City Council covering the coastal area of the local authority area of Aberdeen, including the tidal extent of the River Dee and the River Don. This data was obtained for the purposes of coastal change adaptation planning and future monitoring. The aerial survey was carried out by Bluesky International Ltd. between in August and 2025. The point cloud data was captured at 16 points per square metre (ppm), resulting in a horizontal spatial resolution of 25cm.
