Maximum inundation depth rasters for urban pluvial flood risk assessment modelled under four different scenarios, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City, Vietnam

[This dataset is embargoed until January 4, 2027]. The dataset contains 20 GeoTIFF rasters of maximum overland water depth simulated using a GPU-accelerated two-dimensional hydrodynamic framework (HiPIMS) with a per-timestep bidirectionally coupled Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) module, applied to complement urban pluvial flood risk assessment in Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City, Vietnam. Can Tho City experiences frequent flooding - with tidal surges from the Can Tho River - significant flood management works are currently underway through the Can Tho Urban Development and Resilience Project. Rasters are provided for four scenario types (one no-SuDS baseline and three SuDS types: green roof, bio-retention cell, and rain garden) under five design rainfall return periods (5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 years), yielding 20 simulations in total. Each raster records the maximum overland water depth (m) at each 1 m grid cell across the full 3-hour simulation.
