British Geological Survey (BGS) Sampling Survey 1969/11: Gravel assessment: Clyde (08/Apr/1969 to 24/Jun/1969)

This British Geological Survey (BGS) marine sampling survey took place in 1969 in the River Clyde on board the RV Strathclyde. The purpose was to investigate the gravel distribution in the area. Seabed samples were collected using a shipek grab and sediment dredge, sediment cores were collected using a gravity corer. Beach samples were also collected. These data are archived by BGS. Technical details of the survey are contained in IGS Internal Report 73/9.
